The Town of Fairview was incorporated in 1958 is composed of homes located in a rural, country atmosphere on one acre or larger tracts. For many years, it remained a quiet, somewhat isolated community located adjacent to Lucas, TX and McKinney, TX in Collin County.
Fairview is proud of its county settings and the community is marked by beautifully designed and individual custom homes on large wooded landscaped, rolling acreage, and are considered luxury homes selling from $650,000 to several million dollars. All styles of architecture can be found here.
As a realtor, Fairview Home Values offers one of my favorite small-town cities because of its country feel; its beautiful wooded large landscaped lots, rolling hills and winding streets plus the knockout custom homes. I love working with the residents and many are some of my best clients. And, yet it is comfortably close to the major arteries of US 75, 121, George Bush freeway to the South and 380 to the North that connects most of East and West Texas. The location close to these the major arteries gives my clients an easier travel time to the DFW airport or to Dallas on the South or Sherman to the North or Denton, TX to the East.
Unique to the state, this town wants to keep itself country and has numerous horse farms, chickens and a few old wet hens plus the Lovejoy exemplary school system that is top in the State. Most homes are sitting on a one acre lot. For shopping and restaurants, there is the extensive Fairview Town Center where Dillard’s, Macy’s, Elliot’s Hardware, Whole Foods Market, etc. and my favorite place to shop, Cabela’s across the street. Movies and over 15 restaurants serving every type of food generally found and other businesses are found here. Fairview Home Values are steadily appreciating because of it county feel and the Lovejoy School System.
For those enjoying water sports, Lake Fork is a great bass lake just about 45 minutes from Fairview. Lake Lavon to the East about 20 minutes and Lake Texhoma is a great lake 50 minutes to the North near Sherman. Hunting enthusiasts have opportunity to hunt with the Christian Outdoor Ministry, the Dallas Woods and Waters Club and the Dallas Safari Club plus other opportunities on private ranches through out the state.
