That means it is still a seller’s market. Scarcity improves demand and you can receive a higher price offer now than waiting for more inventory and therefore competition to come on the market. We are seeing lower prices being offered than those from last year. Timing for you can be important. Selling while prices are high may give you more competition from existing homes on the market than you want, but we can probably overcome this with a few adjustments to the presentation of your home. While moderating compared to the frenzy in 2020 and 2021, showing activity (an indicator of buyer demand) is moving back toward pre-pandemic levels – and those were great years in real estate.
